1. Statistical logic

The baseline before any of your commercial input. Pick the one that matches how your demand behaves.

2. Which sales count as real demand

Tick the sales types from your file that represent genuine customer demand. Everything unticked is ignored here and in the Safety Stock calculation.

3. Your inputs

Commercial uplift %Growth (or decline) you expect on top of the statistics — new customers, pricing, lost business. 0% means trust the history alone.Confidence interval %How safe the planning range should be. 90% means the real demand should land inside the low–high band about 9 months out of 10. Higher = wider band = more stock.Outlier cappingUnusual months (one-off project orders, data errors) are pulled back to this many standard deviations from the item's average, so a single spike doesn't inflate a year of forecast.Moving-average window (months)Only used by the moving-average logic. Shorter reacts faster to change, longer is smoother and calmer.
